SMLC Ministries

Sunday School
A wide variety of topics and age levels

Confirmation
Confirmation ministry is a two year program leading to the Affirmation of Baptism in which the confirmands affirm the vows their parents took at their child's baptism. Students generally enter the program as 5th graders and are confirmed as 7th graders. Through a variety of learning opportunities, participants develop an understanding of the Bible, the importance of God's word in life, the Sacraments, church history, and what it means to be the church and a Christian in today's world.  Confirmation ministry helps parents to fulfill the promises they took at their child's baptism.
